This work is a play on several ideas and words. Soren Kierkegaard stated that "Money is an abstraction, a form or reflection." Jackson Pollock, the American Abstract Expressionist painter, said, "When I am painting, I'm not aware of what I'm doing."

Pollock's vacation from conscious thought led me to thinking about vacations and how they are meant to be a time for relaxation and actions that encourage reflection.

Materials: cotton, tulle net, printed paper, toy suitcases; machine and hand sewn
